Jamaica Plain (boston) monthly meetup
.Come hang out and enjoy a chill gathering of abolitionists in a community member's home. The first half of the evening is includes chatting, snacks, and plenty of tea! In the second half, we talk briefly about why it is important to write incarcerated people, then send birthday and random greeting cards inside.
Space is limited, so we ask that you RSVP. Please be able to be there on time and plan stay the whole time to minimize disruption. We'll reach out to you with an email to let you know if there is space this month. If not, we'll give you the info you need to write cards on your own.

-This house is located on a large, steep hill. The sidewalks are partially obstructed but there is a curb cut right in front of the house
-Some street parking, buses 42 and 44 stop nearby
-There are a total of 15 steps outside, plus the threshold. We will be on the first floor
-Please wear a mask. We will have many styles of KN95s and N95s to choose from if you need one
-We will have an air purifier going
-No peanuts or nuts of any kind. Other snacks encouraged!
-We have a calm cat who can be put in another room, if needed
